How your money will help make a difference

Never has there been such an urgent need for Sowing Seeds Ministries.

Alpha Course

The jails are full to overflowing with ever more people. Desperate men and women, lost, lonely and in pain.

Some of them are ready to hear Gram’s message, will YOU help bring it to them and really make a difference?

At the moment he works alone, travelling to jails and young offender institutions all over the north.

It’s a minimum of 700 miles a week; 2,100 miles a month. Every week, every month!

12-hour days are common, some are a lot longer. It’s hard to turn your back on despair.

Gram doesn’t seek sympathy. He doesn’t need it. But he does need support – regularly.

£5 - provides a toiletry bag containing soap, face cloth, toothbrush and toothpaste for an ex-offender.

£10 - buys them a decent hot meal.

£25 - provides a new t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms.

£50 - fills the car with petrol for a week of visits.

One-off gifts make a huge difference:

£200 - Every Easter, a hugely significant time for the Christian message, Gram provides chocolate and a small gift for every youngster in Hassockfield Secure Training Centre. There are usually around 50 young men and young women.

£300 - Every summer Gram provides an outdoor barbecue, a small gift and Christian teachings at Hassockfield.

£1,000 - Could help Gram find an office and resource it with the equipment needed to spread his Ministries.

£2,500 - Provides Christmas for the youngsters in Hassockfield! At this crucial time in the Christian calendar, Gram provides Christmas entertainment with a Christian message, selection boxes and some small gifts (T-shirts, sports socks, a small cash sum) to many who usually get no presents at all.

£5,000 - Would defray Gram’s travelling costs, meet car maintenance costs and provide insurance, road fund licence etc. for a year.

£10,000 - Would be used to provide and equip a Sowing Seeds Ministries administrator for one year.

£20,000 - Would be used to provide an assistant for one year whose duties would be to further spread the work of the Sowing Seeds Ministries. This work to be carried out by an ex-offender.

£150,000+ - Would go to purchase a suitable property and equip it as an outreach accommodation centre for ex-offenders.

Whatever your gift, whatever you can afford, your money will be used to help the dispossessed find a place in a society which has, up to now feared, despised and ignored them.

Please give what you can.

Thank you and God Bless!
